A dorm on the Massachusetts Institute of Technology campus had to be evacuated due to an overnight bomb scare.
Everyone was ordered out of Simmons Hall at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday after emergency personnel responded to a complaint of a threat, according to school representatives.
The building was granted the all-clear after a thorough search of the grounds by investigators revealed no threat to it.
While workers swept the premises, students were requested to avoid the area. About two hours later, they were permitted to return inside.
This threat follows more than two dozen hoax calls to Massachusetts colleges last week and a hoax call made to Harvard University on Monday.
The threat from Wednesday is still under review.
