An SUV crashed through the front window of an Apple store in Hingham, Massachusetts.
Police responded to the crash at around 10:30 am. The car had driven through the window all the way to the back of the store, leaving customers and employees pinned.
One was killed and sixteen were injured as a reunion of the crash. Four of those sixteen are in critical condition.
It is not clear how many people were in the store at the time, all that is known is that the store was very busy due to Thanksgiving.
The crash investigation is still ongoing, the only information released being that the driver was male. Whether the crash was accidental or not has not yet been stated.
Apple Inc has made a statement saying “Our hearts go out to our team members and customers who were injured and all of those who were affected by this terrible incident.”
