An arrest has finally been made after a large search for multiple suspects involved in a bank robbery in Martha’s Vineyard.

On Thursday, Trust Bank in Vineyard Haven was robbed at gunpoint, and as of now only one suspect is in custody while the other two remain on the run.

According to surveillance footage, the suspects appeared to be at the bank at around 8:15 AM wearing matching Halloween masks, with gloves, and armed with handguns.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Tisbury Police Department and report it.

To avoid inciting fear, District Attorney Michael O’Keefe and Tisbury police chief Chris Habekost have instructed residents of the area to be wary but not to be extremely cautious or “overly alarmed” since “this was a targeted crime.”

The Bank remains closed and Police are continuing to investigate.
