Authorities are looking into a city cemetery’s damage, which cost thousands of dollars.
At the City of Manchester Merrill Cemetery, according to Manchester Police, more than a dozen tombstone markers have been damaged. Authorities say some of these headstones were broken, knocked over, or painted gold. The damages are expected to cost $20,000 to repair.
Police are requesting that anyone with knowledge about the vandalisms contact them.
