According to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office, Brockton Police were investigating a robbery and were traveling down Belmont Avenue at about 4:39 in the morning. Officers were traveling down the street when they noticed a man lying on the ground close to 51 Belmont Ave.
After additional research. Police officers noticed that the man appeared to have stab wounds.
After being taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, the 41-year-old man was declared deceased.
He is currently being kept anonymous awaiting notification of his next of kin.
There is no additional evidence available and the investigation is still active.
