Overnight, firefighters in Malden, Massachusetts, responded to a fire, finding two cars completely engulfed in flames in a driveway when they arrived.

Crews from the Malden Fire Department went to the scene on Hancock Road and were able to prevent the fire from expanding to a house. However, the fire did eventually extend to a second home.

Fire officials stated that everyone was able to leave the building safely and that no injuries were noted.

Although the source of the fire is still being looked into, it seems to have originated from one of the cars.

To assist those affected, the Red Cross has been contacted.
