On Sunday afternoon, a car collided with a triple-decker in Roslindale, leaving one individual dead and another injured.
Around 5 o’clock, a silver car on Washington Street crashed into the front of a building, killing the individual who was standing on the sidewalk, according to Suffolk District Attorney Kevin Hayden speaking to Boston 25 News.
A second person discovered nearby the vehicle was taken to the hospital. Both victims, according to the DA’s office, were males in their 60s.
Boston officers are not making any assumptions about what led to the collision, but some neighbors told Boston 25 News they are constantly concerned about fast cars on the road.
“I take my kid to daycare about 10 blocks away and it shouldn’t feel dangerous to do so,” said Sam Bruno.
At the accident site, officials gathered evidence for hours.
It’s unclear whether the car’s owner will be charged.
