Local police have said a man was detained on Friday in Fall River, Massachusetts, in connection with breaking into an automobile.
According to authorities, Fall River resident Wilson Colon-Tirado, 30, was taken into custody. He is charged with vandalism, intent to commit a felony, and breaking and entering a car at night with the purpose to commit a crime.
Similar crimes, according to the police, have been happening in Westport, Dartmouth, and Tiverton.
Authorities claim that there have been other incidents in the City of Fall River that are comparable to the one for which Colon was detained.
