According to Boston Police, two adolescents were detained for a double shooting that occurred on Monday, December 5 in Dorchester.

A 17-year-old male from Jamaica Plain and a 15-year-old male from Mattapan, said the authorities, were taken into custody.

After a double shooting and subsequent stabbing took place in Boston’s Dorchester area on Monday, at least three individuals were hurt.

Authorities stated that both patients were transferred to hospitals and were expected to live.

People in the vicinity were angered by yet another day that was ruined by violent crime in the neighborhood, even though police did not claim that the two instances were connected. Further worry was raised by the fact that the two shootings occurred close to a community center and a school.

In response to the incident, the elementary school and community center were placed in a safe mode.

The Suffolk County Juvenile Court is set to hold an arraignment for both kids.
