Early on Monday morning, a rollover collision on Route 195 in Marion claimed the life of a 28-year-old male, according to state police.

At 12:13 a.m. on Monday, William Gronblom was killed in the collision on Route 195’s westbound lanes, according to state police.

According to a preliminary investigation, Gronblom was operating a westbound Toyota RAV4 SUV when it veered off the road into the grass median and collided with a concrete support beam of the overpass, according to state police.

State officers reported that Gronblom was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, where doctors there declared him dead.

The accident’s cause is still being looked into.
