Around 4:50 a.m., state police got a call reporting a collision on I-89 north at Exit 15 in Enfield. According to authorities, a snow storm was taking place in the town, which is situated in western New Hampshire not far from the Vermont border.
As it reached a left-hand curve while traveling in the right lane, a box truck started to brake and lost control, rolling over onto its left side. The guardrail on the left side of the roadway was destroyed when the vehicle rolled on its side for around 275 feet.
McGregor Moise, 30, of Providence, Rhode Island, was the driver, and he was carried by EMS to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. There was no immediate word on his health.
I-89’s left lanes were closed for many hours as the accident was investigated and cleaned up.
According to state police, Moise was charged with going too fast for the road conditions.
